Dr. White's Story

Dr. Jeanette White

Why Chiropractic? I learned early about Chiropractic. My mother suffered from low back pain. She would get so bad that she had trouble getting out of bed. I saw how much Chiropractic helped her over the years. I also had my own personal experience with Chiropractic growing up. I had severe muscle spasms in my neck and upper back to where I could not turn my head for several days. I started to develop numbness and tingling in my left arm, and started having daily headaches. Chiropractic is what turned my situation around and freed me neck pain and muscle spasms. These Chiropractic experiences left a lasting impression on me. So, after getting a degree in Biology from Slippery Rock University, I went on to become a Chiropractor so I could help others the way Chiropractic has helped me and my family.

Why Nutrition? I grew up in a home where my mother believed in the healing power of whole foods. We grew a large garden and canned any extra produce that we grew. I may not have appreciated the work when I was a child, however, I now love growing my garden and utilizing fresh produce and herbs as much as possible. My daughter, Emily, is now working with me in the garden. She enjoys picking and eating herbs such as chives, mint, parsley and lemon thyme. Over the course of my life and career, I have become more and more interested and passionate about learning about vitamins, minerals and herbs. I use this information to help improve my health, my family’s health, and the health of my patients. I firmly believe that chiropractic and nutrition are important keys to good health. As you can see from my story, natural health has been a continuing lifelong journey. I would love to share my knowledge about chiropractic and nutrition with you to assist you on your own journey to better health!
