Chiropractic—a popular, safe, and effective treatment for spinal pain.

The Consumer Reports Health Rating Center surveyed 14,000 subscribers who reported experiencing back pain in the past year but who had never undergone back surgery. The April 6, 2009 Consumer Reports survey reported that more than 50% of the participants said the pain severely limited their daily routines for at least a week and 88% of the respondents said their back pain recurred throughout the year.

Consumer Reports Survey favors hands-on therapies such as chiropractic.

Four Important Reasons Why You Should Choose The Spinal Health and Wellness Center, LLC

1. A gentle, comprehensive and effective
approach to the treatment of spinal pain and extremity pain

The Chiropractors at The Spinal Health and Wellness Center utilize various treatment methods in order to restore normal spinal alignment. Abnormal alignment of the spine results in abnormal forces on the joints, muscles and ligaments in and around the spine. The doctors use spinal adjustments to return normal motion to a spinal joint. The adjustment is made with a gentle thrusting technique (Drop Table Adjusting and Instrument Adjusting). These low-force adjusting techniques reduce much of the anxiety associated with chiropractic treatment. Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy is a soft tissue therapy that involves locating specific hypertonic (tight) and painful points in a muscle and applying specific pressure on these points to relieve abnormal muscle tension. Spinal rehabilitation is utilized at our office to assist in the restoration of normal spinal alignment and to improve the health and condition of muscles and ligaments that control the movement of the spine.
